If its time to give yourself the space to relieve the weight of your experience your are encountering, come and see how sharing your experience in a safe and compassionate environment can begin your journey through change.
Pricing: Currently, I only accept out-of-pocket or out-of-network clients, and reserve a limited number of sliding scale clients based on financial hardship. The cost per session is $125 for 50-minutes, $170 for 75-minutes, and $150 per session for the initial intake and assessment (50-minutes). All new clients pay a flat rate of $150 for the first session where we conduct an intake to determine appropriate services and treatment goals.
Forms of Payment: I accept cash, check, or credit cards through a secure portal, and Health Savings Accounts. Some insurance companies provide coverage for out-of-network mental health services. It is the clients’ responsibility to contact their insurance company to gain knowledge of, or permission for “out of network” counseling services with a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am able to provide a superbill, which is an itemized bill reflecting services that is generally required to bill out-of-network.
Please note: I currently do not accept insurance. While I understand that may be a barrier to engage in therapy with me, I believe that the therapeutic relationship is between client and therapist, and I hold confidentiality in the highest regard. Insurance can ask for your charts which means your information is no longer confidential, or request a mental health diagnosis for billing purposes. Your privacy is important to me, and I want clients to be insured that they can feel safe and supported throughout our therapeutic relationship.
I do accept a limited number clients who may not be able to afford my full fee for services. Please inquire to see if I have available openings for clients needing a sliding scale.
Cancellations: Payment is due in full at the time of service at the beginning or end of each session. A 24-hour notice is required for appointment cancellations. Missed appointments without a 24-hour notification will be charged in full per scheduled appointment length.
